“LAFERRARI APERTA” AT THE FERRARI MUSEUM IN MARANELLO

After its successful debut at the Paris Motor Show, visitors can now get a fantastic first-hand look at the Prancing Horse’s new limited edition special series, the LaFerrari Aperta, at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello where it is on display for the next month.
Another great reason to visit the Ferrari Museum over the coming days and to discover the rest of the cars in the “Exclusivity and Technology: the Limited Edition Special Series’” exhibition on the ground floor. Also running right now is the “Ferraristi Forever” exhibition dedicated to the champions that dominated circuits all over the world in Prancing Horse cars.
“Live the dream!” is the message that greets visitors when they arrive at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, promising a uniquely enthralling experience.
The Maranello Museum tells the story of Ferrari past and present. Its roots, in fact, lie deep in the Prancing Horse’s extraordinary history, spanning both the most famous and successful Formula 1 cars, our legendary Sports Prototypes and GTs, and our most significant road cars.
However, once inside the Museum, visitors can also enjoy a host of other amenities that will further enrich their experience: a cinema with looped showings of themed films, semi-professional Formula 1 simulators, a photographic set where they can have their photo taken in a Ferrari for a very special souvenir of their visit, the opportunity to try a real tyre change, big screen showings on Grand Prix days, a great Ferrari Store and a charming café.
Visitors wishing to also take in the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena can avail of a special shuttle service departing from the plaza in front of the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. This service links the two museums at regular intervals throughout the day. Click here for further information.
To ensure that the your own personal experience of living the dream reaches as many friends as possible, the exhibition invites you to take plenty of photos and selfies, and post them using the #MuseiFerrari hashtag and @MuseoFerrariaccount.
Ferraristi per Sempre

The exhibition halls in the Maranello Museum illustrate some of the many different aspects of Ferrari’s fascinating history. The ground floor is currently hosting the “Exclusivity and Technology: the Special Limited Edition Series” exhibition. This showcases a collection of models built in extremely small numbers but each still representing a milestone in technological innovation.
The “Ferraristi Forever” exhibition begins on the Mezzanine. It is essentially an homage to Formula 1 and the endurance competitions competed in across the globe by Prancing Horse cars. To the fore are the official works drivers and others that have won at least one race in a Ferrari. That said, the exhibition is also dedicated to all the drivers that raced Prancing Horse cars with determination and passion and, in doing so, made an essential contribution to building the Ferrari legend.
The Ferrari Museum in Maranello has been innovating since the day it opened its doors to deliver exhibitions of absolutely unique road and track models to its visitors. After the official opening of the new wing in 2013 in particular, it embarked on a series of major themed exhibitions which have proved hugely popular and resulted in a still-ongoing rise in visitor numbers.
The first of them celebrated the talent of Sergio Pininfarina, with a retrospective over his life’s work. The exclusive interview shown here, describes the character of the famous designer and reveals some of Enzo Ferrari’s secrets.
With the advent of LaFerrari, the Museum then focused on the topic of Supercars: a journey that started with the mythical 250GTO and evolved into the latest model through 288GTO, GTO Evoluzione, F40, F50 and Enzo. Clearly, the exhibition was far richer and included many “Super” road and track models.
Another, absolutely exclusive event was an exhibition on Test mules (Mulotipi) and Great Journeys, in which a car manufacturer showcased its laboratory concepts for the first time. The star of the recent Ferrari Sporting SpiritExhibition was the famous Ferrari P3 – one of the three cars that gained the podium in 1967.
In the course of 2014, the year of the launch of the California T and Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary in America, the theme was California Dreaming, a fascinating exhibition that immersed visitors in the history of Ferrari in the US with a slew of spectacular and unique cars: from Formula 1s to the sports prototypes and GTs that triumphed on America’s tracks, via Hollywood and Los Angeles.
The Ferrari Genius and Secrets exhibition, on the other hand, featured eye witness testimonies from the people at the heart of the action. Eight secret projects that involved choices, experimentation and milestone decisions, and ultimately helped make Ferrari a unique marque. Don’t miss the opportunity to relive the exhibition now by taking the virtual tour: “Genius and Secrets
